Forget Fame—God Is After Something Else
In a world that celebrates fame and recognition, it’s easy to feel like small acts of service or faithfulness don’t matter. Yet, God sees every detail, and in His kingdom, even the smallest acts hold immense value. When we honor God in the small things, we open the door for Him to trust us with more. Jesus said in Luke 16:10, “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.” Faithfulness, even in the small, often-overlooked areas of life, is what God honors.
God’s way of promotion isn’t through popularity but through perseverance. When we show up, even when no one notices, we’re building something much deeper in our relationship with God. The Lord is not looking for people who seek recognition—He’s looking for those who are dedicated to Him, willing to serve with or without applause. It’s in the quiet moments of obedience, unseen by others, that God molds our character and prepares us for greater responsibility.
If you’ve been feeling discouraged or wondering if your efforts are seen, remember that God values every act of faithfulness. Your commitment matters deeply to Him, and He promises to reward it. Let faithfulness be your focus, and trust that God sees and values it all.
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance” —Colossians 3:23-24
