Your Mom Is Scary, Not The Holy Spirit
When we talk about the Holy Spirit, many of us feel a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it's because of unfamiliarity or misconceptions, but we often label the Holy Spirit as "weird." However, the Holy Spirit is not strange or optional—He is an essential part of the Christian life. God desires to bring transformation, freedom, and growth through His Spirit. By letting misconceptions cloud our view, we risk missing out on the fullness of God’s presence and power.
The truth is, the Holy Spirit is God, just as much as the Father and the Son. Embracing the Holy Spirit means opening ourselves to His work in our hearts, allowing Him to turn knowledge about God into a deep, intimate relationship. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” —2 Corinthians 3:17. He takes what we understand about faith and makes it real in our lives, guiding us and empowering us to live as God intended. There is nothing to fear in the Holy Spirit—only love, freedom, and a deeper walk with Jesus.
Without the Holy Spirit, there is no true revival, no real transformation, and no power to live out the gospel. Let’s move past our hesitation and embrace the Spirit’s work. God has so much more for us when we allow His Spirit to move freely, and it starts with opening our hearts and letting Him in.
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth” —John 16:13.
