You're Not Strong Enough
Too often, we find ourselves trying to outsmart, outwork, or out-resource our problems rather than bringing them to God. Just like the kids in The Sandlot, we go through all kinds of plans and schemes to fix our situations, only to realize that we’re making things worse. The truth is, we were never meant to handle life’s challenges in our own strength. God invites us to come to Him, to simply knock on His door and ask for His help.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” But too often, we hesitate to knock because of pride, baggage, or a misunderstanding of God’s goodness. We fear that if we ask, we’ll be disappointed, or we try to handle things ourselves out of a false sense of control. But God wants us to bring our burdens to Him! He’s waiting to help, to provide, and to guide us through every trial and decision we face.
It’s time to stop relying on your own strength and start trusting in the One who holds all things together. When we choose to humble ourselves and knock on God’s door, He promises to answer. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight” —Proverbs 3:5-6
